41 injured in grenade attack in Bandipore bus stand

At least 41 persons were injured when unidentified militants hurled a grenade at the main Bandipore bus stand in the north Kashmir district of Baramulla.

Police sources said the grenade was aimed at the security forces stationed at the bus stand, but missed them and exploded near the assembled passengers.

The injured included eight women and five children.

The injured have been shifted to the local hospital. The condition of five persons was stated to be critical.
