A formal announcement to this effect will be made on December 26 during the party's 17th state-level conference, party's state unit secretary Prabhakar Sanzgiri told reporters in Mumbai.
However, the party, which has two members in the state legislature, would extend issue-based support to the government, he added.
He said the party has also appealed to the Peasants and Workers's Party (PWP), Janata Dal (Secular) and Samajwadi Party to take a similar decision.
