Shabir Shah on a tour of quake-hit areas

Shabir Ahmed Shah, chairman of the Democratic Freedom Party in Kashmir, has left for Ahmedabad, his family sources told rediff.com.

He will be visiting quake-hit areas, the family sources said, to assess the damage and to express his condolences to the affected families.

Earlier, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front leader Yaseen Malik had rushed 85 pints of blood as aid to Gujarat.
