"No decision has been taken by the Trinamul Congress about snapping its ties with the Congress," he said denying reports in a section of the press about the end of the Congress-Trinamul Congress alliance.
On Tuesday, Trinamul chief Mamata Banerjee had said that her party would go it alone in West Bengal charging the state Congress leadership of not being sincere in fighting the Communist Party of India-Marxist.
"She only expressed dissatisfaction over the Congress readmitting some of dissidents who had fought the last election as independents," Banerjee said.
