Musharraf's wife may visit Lucknow

While Pakistani military ruler General Pervez Musharraf has expressed desire to visit his ancestral house in Old Delhi during his forthcoming visit to India, his wife Sahba may visit Lucknow to meet her friends and relatives.

A report in the Urdu daily Jang in Islamabad said Sahba, who has been invited along with Musharraf by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, may take time out to go to Lucknow to visit her kin.

Meanwhile, officials in Islamabad said they were awaiting details about Vajpayee's knee surgery plan before finalising the dates for Musharraf's visit.

The local media carried reports from New Delhi about preparations for Musharraf's visit to the Neharwali Haweli in Old Delhi where the military ruler was born.
