Fire breaks out at NSCB airport in Kolkata

A fire broke out at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose international airport in Kolkata on Monday night, airport authorities said.

They said the blaze broke out in the new technical area of the airport.

The airport authorities said that four fire tenders, deployed to fight the blaze, managed to put out the fire.

A fire fighter received injuries during the operation.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were yet to be ascertained.
