Ten Karnataka MLAs to join Congress

The Congress in Karnataka on Monday got a shot in the arm when 10 MLAs -- two from the Bharatiya Janata Party and eight rebels expelled sometime back -- joined the party.

The MLAs met Congress general secretary in-charge of Karnataka, Vyalar Ravi, and expressed their desire to join the Congress, Karnataka Revenue Minister H C Srikantaiah said.

They are likely to meet Congress chief Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday, he said.

"Everything is clear" about their joining the party, Srikantaiah said.
