Salman's car meets with an accident

Film actor Salman Khan's car met with a minor accident at Deolali Camp, about 10 kilometres from Nashik, police sources said on Wednesday.

Neither the actor nor the driver of the car, however, was injured in the incident, they said.

Salman, whose car ran over some people sleeping on a Mumbai pavement last month killing one person and injuring four others, was released on bail from Thane jail on October 24.

The sources said the actor, who is camping in Nashik's Taj Residency hotel for shooting of a Hindi film, left the place for Deolali railway station where the day's shoot was scheduled. His private security personnel and bodyguard followed in another car, they said.

Near the railway station, Salman's driver braked hard due to some obstacle on the road and a car coming from behind hit the actor's vehicle, the sources said.

A crane later removed Salman's car, which was damaged in the collision, they added.
