Party will not tolerate
indiscipline: Venkaiah

Giridhar Gopal in Bhubaneswar

Reacting to reports of discontent in the party's Uttar Pradesh unit, Bharatiya Janata Party president M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday said that the party would not tolerate any indiscipline.

However, Naidu professed ignorance about some MLAs having come together to air their grievances in public and about them writing to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in this regard.

The legislators are headed by former minister Ganga Bhakt Singh.

"I have talked to state BJP chief Kalraj Mishra and asked him to ascertain their grievances. But the party will not tolerate any indiscipline," Naidu told mediapersons in Bhubaneswar.
