Crude bombs recovered at
Navy Nagar, two arrested

Three crude bombs have been recovered from a slum area in south Mumbai adjacent to Navy Nagar, which houses employees of the defence forces.

Police on Tuesday said the 'sutli' bombs were recovered on October 20 from one of the shanties located at Ganeshmurti Nagar behind the Backbay area, which falls under the high-security zone due to the presence of various naval installations.

Two persons, suspected to be involved in the making of the bombs, have been arrested, they said.

Further investigations were on, they added.
