Ek Chhoti Si...: Manisha moves division bench of Bombay high court

Actress Manisha Koirala on Wednesday filed an appeal in the Bombay high court, challenging its earlier order rejecting her plea to delete some scenes from the controversial film Ek Chhoti Si Love Story.

The appeal is expected to come up for hearing before a division bench on Thursday.

The high court had last week dismissed Koirala's plea for deleting shots on the ground that they were an integral part of the film.

Manisha had alleged that producer Shashilal Nair had used a duplicate in some scenes, which portrayed her in bad light.

Nair said he had used Koirala's duplicate with her permission because she had become obese.

Koirala had denied Nair's allegation that she had gained weight.
