28 more Pandits migrate to Jammu

April 10, 2003 15:29 IST

Another 28 survivors of the Nadimarg massacre migrated to Jammu, the total migrants in the past fortnight now reaching 105.

H L Chatta, vice president of All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference, said the migrants have demanded that the state and the centre should rehabilitate them on a permanent basis.

Chatta said the Relief Commissioner has failed to provide relief and no official or minister has visited them so far.

On Wednesday, 14 members of two families left their ancestral homes ignoring assuarances of additional security if they continued to live in the valley.
