J&K minister denies link with Akshardham terrorists

Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Minister Abdul Aziz Zargar on Thursday said the allegation that his native house was used by Lashkar-e-Tayiba militants involved in the Akshardham temple attack is part of a sustained campaign against him.

He said such allegations are being made repeatedly despite the police denying any links between him and the militants.
Zargar said he abandoned the house in Manzgam village in Anantnag district after the outbreak of militancy in the Valley and has neither visited it for the past 13 years nor is he aware of it being visited or used by militants.
He said since he does not occupy the house, it is mischievous to talk about any links between the militants who may have used it and him.
"The reason for migration is obvious...who visited my native house and at what point of time I am not aware of it," he said.
