Rajasthan shivers in cold wave

Pilani in Rajasthan recorded a low of 3° Celsius, its lowest temperature this season, on Thursday night. An intense cold wave is sweeping the state, though clear skies and bright sunshine brought some respite on Friday.

Mount Abu, the only hill station in the state, shivered for the second consecutive month with the lowest temperature at 2° Celsius on Thursday night.
Bikaner recorded a minimum of 4° Celsius, Churu 5° Celsius, Udaipur 6° Celsius, Jaisalmer and Sriganganagar 7° Celsius each and Jaipur and Ajmer 8° Celsius each.
