India hopes Pakistan and Bangladesh will learn some lessons from Bhutan, which forcibly evicted anti-India insurgents from its soil after India repeatedly warned that the armed militants could destabilise the tiny Himalayan kingdom.

Prime Minister Jigmi Thinley addresses the opening ceremony of the SAARC Summit in Islamabad, which was held amidst the tightest possible security in view of two attempts on the life of President Musharraf within a gap of 10 days.
