Noted actress and wife of superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, is among Samajwadi Party's five candidates for the June 28 Rajya Sabha elections.

SP general secretary Amar Singh declared this at a press conference in New Delhi on Saturday.

The other four candidates of the party are: UP minister Bhagwati Singh, Ram Narayan Sahu, Nand Kishore Yadav and Kamal Akhtar.

A fifth candidate of the party will be declared later, he said.
