Gandhi to visit Pakistan soon: Kasuri

Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri on Monday said that Congress president Sonia Gandhi would soon visit Pakistan in response to an invitation extended by President Gen Pervez Musharraf.

Natwar, Kasuri meeting 'productive'


Speaking to state run PTV after his meeting with External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh on the sidelines of a regional conference in Qingdao in China, Kasuri said, "He (Singh) told me that Mrs Gandhi has accepted President Musharraf's invitation to visit Pakistan."

Musharraf had invited Gandhi soon after the Congress-led coalition came to power.
