The University of Delhi will hold a Combined Entrance Examination for admission to the first semester of the Bachelor of Engineering courses for the session 2004-2005 at the Delhi College of Engineering and the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology on Sunday, May 30, 2004.

Environmental Engineering: 30
Information Technology: 60
Bio-Technology: 20
Courses and number of seats offered at the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology:
Electronics & Communication Engineering: 100
Computer Engineering: 100
Instrumentation & Control Engineering: 100
Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering: 60

Minimum Eligibility: Candidates having Indian nationality should have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (12 year course) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Delhi securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (50% or more marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, 55% or more marks for candidates belonging to CW (Defence)/ Physically Handicapped Category). The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the CEE-2004.
Region-wise allocation of seats:
Delhi Region (candidates passing from schools/colleges located in the National Capital Territory of Delhi): 85%
Outside Delhi region (candidates passing from schools/colleges located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi): 15%
Reservation of seats:
15% seats for Scheduled Castes and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes.
5% for children /widows of Personnel of Armed/Paramilitary Forces killed/disabled in action during hostilities.
3% seats for Physically Handicapped (1% for persons with low vision or blindness, 1% for hearing impaired, 1% for those with loco motor disabilities and/or cerebral palsy).
All candidates (covered under General/SC/CW/PH category) will be required to appear in the Combined Entrance Examination 2004.
Examination: The Combined Entrance Examination consists of objective type question in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (combined).
Minimum Age: 17 years on or before October 1, 2004.
Bulletin of Information: The Bulletin of Information containing further details, prescribed application Form and syllabi for CEE-2004 can be obtained from the sales counter of the a. Faculty of Technology (University of Delhi), Room No HCFF-13, 1st Floor (Health Centre) Delhi College of Engineering (New Campus), Bawana Road, Delhi 110042. b. Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Sector-3, Dwarka, Papankalan, New Delhi 110045 on submission of a demand draft/pay order of Rs 400 (inclusive of examination fee) on working days from Monday to Friday between 10 am and 4 pm.
The bulletin of information can also be obtained by post by sending a demand draft/pay order of Rs 475 (inclusive of examination fee and postal charges). The request for supply of Bulletin of Information should be sent to The Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Technology (University of Delhi), Room No HCFF-13, 1st Floor (Health Centre) Delhi College of Engineering (New Campus), Bawana Road, Delhi 110042 along with two self-addressed slips.
The demand draft/pay order should be in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi, Delhi drawn on State Bank of India, Service Branch, New Delhi (Code No 7687).
Please write your name, address and telephone number (if any) at the back of the demand draft/pay order.

Sale of bulletin of information: February 27, 2004 to March 26, 2004.
Last date for receipt of request for supply of bulletin by post: March 12, 2004.
Last date for receipt of completed application form: March 26, 2004.
The university will not be responsible for any postal delay.
Note: Centres of examination are located in the National Capital Territory of Delhi only. Incomplete application form will not be considered.
