Two militants and a paramilitary head constable were killed in an attack on a Border Security Force camp in Sopore, north Kashmir, on Wednesday morning.
A senior police officer said two militants made an attempt to storm the camp in Arampora locality of Sopore.
"They hurled a grenade and sprayed bullets at the guard post of 112 BSF resulting in the death of a paramilitary soldier. One soldier was injured," he said.
The militants were killed by others guards before they could enter the camp.
Paramilitary forces searched the area. Senior police officers also visited the spot.
