With Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images] pointing to the possible involvement of Pakistan-based terrorists in Saturday's Delhi blasts, Islamabad asked India on Wednesday to share evidence in this regard and promised to take action against those involved.

In his talks with President Pervez Musharraf [Images] on Monday, Dr Singh had said that he was 'disturbed' at indications of 'external linkages' of terrorist groups in the blasts and drew his attention to Pakistan's commitment to ending cross-border terrorism.

"Dr Singh talked about preliminary investigations pointing to the possibility of involvement of Pakistan-based militants groups in Delhi blasts. That is certainy not some evidence," Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam told reporters.

"We do expect the government of India to share the evidence of involvement of any Pakistani or if there is any Pakistani connection. Once we get that evidence we certainly will take action," she said.

Also, Aslam said the President told Dr Singh that if there was 'any preliminary evidence it should be shared with us and we will take action against those responsible'.

"Dr Singh thanked the President and the two leaders expressed their resolve to continue the peace process," she added.
