The Lucknow bench of Allahabad high court on Monday granted bail to one of those accused in the Indian Oil [Get Quote] Sales Manager Manjunath murder case.

Justice K S Rakhra directed the accused Harish Mishra to be released on bail after hearing the counsels of the prosecution and the defence.

Manjunath, an Indian Institute of Management graduate, was killed allegedly at the behest of a petrol pump owner in Lakhmipur-Kheri district after he detected adulteration in petrol on November 11, 2005.

The case is pending in the district court and 18 witnesses have deposed so far.
