A special Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act Court on Monday granted two women, Zebunnisa Qazi and Mubina Bhivandiwala, convicted for their roles in 1993 serial blasts, time to surrender "till further orders."

Their bail expired on Monday and their lawyers sought more time for their surrender citing family circumstances.

Meanwhile, Kersy Adjania and Rusi Mullah, convicted under the Arms Act, filed applications for being released under the Probation of Offenders Act.

While Kersy has said that his wife was dependent on him and he himself was a heart patient, Mullah said he had an ailing father and wife to look after.

Both have been convicted under Arms Act and not TADA.

They were instrumental in destroying the AK-56 rifle obtained by Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt. Before this, Dutt and another convict Yusuf Nullwallah had filed applications for being released on a bond of assurance of good conduct under Probation of Offenders Act.
