Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said that he is willing to launch an agitation against President Pervez Musharraf [Images] along with his political rival and Pakistan People's Party leader Benazir Bhutto [Images].

Speaking to a television channel over phone from Saudi Arabia, he said, "If Benazir abandons her negotiations with Musharraf, we can work together and launch a joint struggle."

Sharif appealed to the former prime minister to join hands with the All Party Democratic Movement.

He said, "Perhaps APDM and PPP can coordinate efforts in launching a joint struggle."
