52 devotees from Pakistan visit Vaishno Devi shrine

A group of 52 Pakistani Hindu pilgrims on Monday thronged the holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir [Images].

They arrived in India from the Wagha border and directly drove to Katra. The entire group of 52 pilgrims hail from Sindh region of Pakistan and have been given special visa to visit -Katra, Haridwar and Amritsar [Images], sources said.

This was the first time that a group of pilgrims from Pakistan has been allowed to visit Vaishno Devi shrine. They

would perform darshan on Tuesday.  They have been provided lodging facility at Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
