There is apprehension of horse-trading and the government should seek vote of confidence at the earliest, said L K Advani, the Opposition leader, on Thursday.

Stressing that the UPA government's decision to go to IAEA was surreptitiously taken,  he said it lost all the credibility and its words cannot be taken seriously.

The draft safeguards agreement circulated by the government proved that assurances by prime minister in Parliament not been honoured.

The UPA is pretending, he says, it is still enjoying majority despite Left's withdrawal of support.

Details are awaited.
