Bharatiya Janata Party leader L K Advani [Images] has rescheduled his visit to Mumbai on the request of Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh [Images], and is now likely to accompany him to the terror-hit city.

Their visit is expected to take place as soon as the ongoing encounter against terrorists holed up in various spots ends.

Dr Singh will address the nation in the evening, after the operations at various places are over.

Advani was originally slated to leave for Mumbai at 10.30 am today, but rescheduled it after Dr Singh called him and requested him to join him.
