7 NSCN activists killed in faction feud

At least seven activists of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland were killed and a few injured in a faction feud at Yimpang village near Mokokchung town on Thursday, official sources said.

Several others escaped under cover of darkness, leaving behind weapons that the raiders, numbering about a hundred, took away.

The attack continued for several hours, the sources added.
