3 killed as rains lash Karnataka

Three people were killed in two rain-related incidents in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka on Friday night.

An eight-year-old boy was electrocuted when he came into contact with a live wire in Moodu Thonse in Udupi taluk.

In another incident, two aged persons were killed after a portion of their house collapsed due to heavy rains at Halnad in Kundapur taluk.
