Red alert in Bombay after blast

The police have sounded a red alert all over the metropolis after four detonators and four kg of "RDX like" material exploded in South Bombay on Thursday.

The police said one person, who was making a bomb in a toilet behind Jama Masjid, was injured. However, he soon fled from the scene with burnt hands and hair.

The entire area has been cordoned off and the police have seized the explosive material. A manhunt has been launched to nab the culprit. All hospitals and nursing homes are being searched.
