Major general's body recovered

The charred bodies of Major General Keshav Singh and the two pilots of the army helicopter which crashed on Monday have been recovered.

The wreckage was traced on Tuesday from the dense forest at Babramani in Nagaland's Phek district, official sources said.

The search team, which could not comb the forest on Monday due to inclement weather, was on Tuesday helped by the local villagers in tune with their custom.

"The villagers consider the incident a wrath of god and are making all efforts to ward it off," the sources added.
