9 killed, 36 injured in road accident near Nagpur

Nine people were killed and 36 injured when a bus collided with a truck near Mansar, 40 km from Nagpur, on Wednesday.

The bus was proceeding from Kinwat in Marathwada to Ramtek. Seven persons died on the spot while one died at the Ramtek government hospital and another at Mayo hospital.

Police said the death toll might go up as the condition of some of the injured was critical.

The collision occurred around 1430 hours.
