Narayan Reddy's Janmabhoomi Ki Jayam... to be state song

Jnanpith award-winner Dr C Narayan Reddy's Janmabhoomi Ki Jayam Jayam Telugu Nelaku Subam Subam will be adopted as the state song on August 15.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu says well-known playback singer S P Balasubramaniam will sing the song at the inaugural function on Independence Day.

The government proposes to pass an order shortly, making it mandatory for all schools, government and private offices to sing the song.
