Dear Meghna, before you start watching movies, you will need multimedia
software like Real MediaPlayer, Windows Media Player or
QuickTime.
To start off, Bubbles, my pet parrot, wants to offer his tips. Online movies
usually use streaming video, which means that you do not have to wait to
download the whole clip. Connection speed is the key here and continuous
play is usually not possible when you are connected via a modem, so be prepared for interruptions.
If you are connected via cable or ISDN, you will be able to get a higher quality clip. Also, make sure to close other software applications on your desktop as they will slow down the speed of delivery.

Underground Film, which allow independent directors and filmmakers to showcase their work.
BMWfilm is a presentation that allows you to view short films from award winning directors. There is also a special BMW Player with DVD features that you can download to watch films made by John Frankenheimer, Ang Lee and Guy Ritchie, to name a few.
You also wanted to know about commercial Hindi movies available online. Well, Meghna, you cannot really watch a full-fledged film just yet. What you could do instead is watch previews at Web sites of upcoming Hindi films like Lagaan
and Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai, for example.
Another Indian site, Dekho Film allows independent filmmakers to showcase their work. The clips are usually short, and classified as animation, documentary, fiction, promotional, etc.
Bubbles is a regular visitor at Alwaysi.com and
MovieFlix.com, which has a great collection of westerns, action, romance and other films. You will have to register to get full access though.
