I changed my soul. Yes, you heard me. Changed it.

No, I didn't visit a witch doctor or practice black magic. All I had to do was get some web help. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I wasn't the only one. Hoping and praying the Prince of Darkness had access to the Net, I logged on to trade my soul in for another.

"For many souls life is full of fun and laughter and God loves them but he hates you, so if you too have come to the conclusion that God is out to get you, then you are at the right page. Its time you made a deal with the devil," read the Inconnect home page.

The site carries a list of souls that are up for sale (you may find mine there too) as well as a section titled 'Hell Humour'. Simply register by disclosing a few personal details; not a big price to pay, if you think your soul is worth it.

To find out what its worth is, you might want to log on to the online stock exchange of souls, SoulXchange. This 'soul 2-soul' marketplace is where people come to barter with the help of tools like soul notes, craps and pings. The 'exchange portal' intends to revolutionise the process of selling a soul by cutting down costs, so that visitors get souls to fit their budgets easily.

Speaking of cutting costs, has there ever been a time in your life, when you have dreamed of owning a Ferrari or yacht but haven't ever had either the dough or the nerve to get one? Your wishes can now be fulfilled, thanks to the Evil People and their ongoing wish-fulfilment spree. All they ask for in return is your itsy-bitsy soul, which most of us don't even use, along with your name and email address. What will it be, then? The Ferrari or your soul? Need I spell out the obvious?

Since we are talking about evil people, who can ignore the sultan of them all? From what I gather, the Lord of Darkness is on the lookout for some souls. Those interested can visit SellSoul and give in their soul in exchange for a favour. You could, for example, ask him to jeopardise the lives of those you hate, in return. A word of advice: think twice before you ask for something, because goods once sold cannot be exchanged or returned. Also, if there isn't any divine intervention, your wish may be fulfilled within a week.

What if you don't want to sell, buy, or exchange your soul? With the flexible financing options available today, you could try the Lease Your Soul program hosted by Juggle Mania. It enables you to, temporarily, gain a 'dark gift' in exchange for this lease. You have to forsake your gift only at the end of a term and swear on your eternal soul you'll never use it again. Go for it.

As for me, I'm happier with my new soul. There's no perceptible difference, but I feel it within me. Am I lying? Try it and find out for yourself. You could also try other sites like the ones mentioned below. All in all, a lot safer to trade at these than at the BSE. And that's a guarantee. Additional Links

This site ridicules the entire process of buying and selling souls by ruling out the very existence of having a soul and then having fun at the foolish myth surrounding it.

Interested in selling your soul but don't have the patience to visit a site? Why not just mail these guys and tell them why they shouldn't even bother looking at your soul?
