		Yevgeny Kafelnikov of Russia in action, during the eighth day of the Australian Open Tennis Championships, played at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Australia. Olympic gold medalist and fifth-seed Kafelnikov scored a 7-5 7-5 6-1 win over Andreas Vinciguerra of Sweden. This is his sixth appearance for the 1999 Winner at the Australian Open.
