US Open 2001

Martina Hingis appeared as if she was in two minds with each shot, unwilling to take chances and without any clear decisions, she simply crumbled under the American’s power.

"I couldn't read her serve, I didn't know if she was going to go backhand or forehand. Serena just played really smart today," said Hingis.

Hingis, who has won five Grand Slam championships, hasn't won a Slam since the 1999 Australian Open.
