The Olympic Medals

The front of the medals will be the same for all the disciplines.

An athlete is shown bursting through flames carrying a torch, which acc. to Olympic officials represents "the Olympic Spirit, the resilience of the human spirit and the power to inspire".

The Olympic rings are shown along with the slogan for the Salt Lake Games, "Light the Fire Within".
