Third seed Jennifer Capriati completed an expected, if lengthy, passage into the quarter-finals with a 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 victory over Eleni Daniilidou of Greece in a match that officially lasted one hour and 20 minutes, but needed almost 24 hours to complete on account of rain delays.
