Delhi Class III student makes history

Viraat Badhwar, a class three student from Delhi,�created history by finishing second in the Under-8 category in the� World Junior golf championships, held in San Diego, USA.

The seven-year-old student of Delhi Public School is the first Indian to finish on the podium in the history of the�championships.

Badhwar made the cut from a field of 100 and then competed with the top 20 to finish with a card of one over 162 in three days of competition, which�concluded yesterday.
