Kalam lauds Major Rajyavardhan Rathore

President A P J Abdul Kalam on Tuesday hailed�Major Rajyavardhan Rathore's�silver medal�feat in the double trap event at�the Olympics Games in Athens.

Kalam, who was at the Guru Nanak Dev University for�the 400th anniversary celebrations of the installation of the Guru Granth Sahib, said he is�looking forward to meet Rathore and greet him.

Dr Gayatri Rathore, wife of Major Rathore, when contacted on phone said the invitation is�wonderful and the Olympic hero will be delighted to meet�the President.

"It is a great honour and the greatest thing to have happened to us," she added.
