Roy, Sanaa crowned champions

Rupesh Roy and Sanaa Bhambri lived up to their top billing to win the boys and girls' under-18 titles at the AITA Juniors Masters tennis tournament in Delhi on Saturday.

Roy got the better of Vivek Shokeen, who conceded the tie following an injury after losing the first set 2-6, while Sanaa thrashed G K Shweta 6-2, 6-1.

In the boys' under-14 final, Agnel Gladwin had little difficulty in packing off V Vignesh 6-1, 6-3.

Meanwhile, Shweta ensured that she took at least one title from the championship, when she got the better of Shivika Burman 6-4, 6-3 in the girls' under-14 final.
