India's Rohan Bopanna and Belgium's Olivier Rochus advanced to the doubles quarter-finals of the ATP Stockholm Open on Sunday.

Bopanna-Rochus beat Sweden's Thomas Johansson and Todd Perry of Australia 6-2, 6-7(4), 10-8 in the first round.

The Indian, partnering Pakistan's Aisam Qureshi, had made it to the final of the Kingfisher Airlines Mumbai Open last Sunday, while Rochus finished runner-up to Richard Gasquet in the tournament.

Bopanna, who lost the last qualifying round to Peter Wessels of the Netherlands, got into the main draw as a lucky loser.

He will play world number 47 Albert Montanes of Spain in the first round on Monday.
