Chetan Anand and Arvind Bhat set up a title clash against each other after notching contrasting wins in the men's singles semi-finals of the Bitburger Open in Germany [Images] on Saturday.

Fourth seed Chetan laboured to a 21-14, 16-21, 21-13 win over 15th seed Peter Mikkelson of Denmark in a 40-minute contest.

In contrast, seventh seed Arvind had no trouble beating 12th seed German Bjorn Joppien 21-19, 21-7 in 27 minutes.

In the women's singles, Aditi Mutatkar stunned second seed Juliane Schenk 21-14, 21-16 to enter the final, where she will take on Indonesia's Maria Febe Kusumastuti.

The unseeded Kusumastuti also pulled off an upset win, beating fourth seeded Russian Ella Diehl 21-19, 12-21, 23-21.
