Message: With the current bowling attack, there is no way we can win the WC. Except Zaheer, there is no Indian bowler with even a decent record in the past 1 year. There must be special bowling camp organised to focus on that area. May be senior cricketers might come together to making it happen. Even the batsman should get ready to play on bouncy tracks..We have been seeing the best of batsman like Sehwag struggling against raising deliveries.

Message: In SouthAfrica spinners is notgoing to do the job. It will be the fast bowler who will have to hit the deck. So I think that bowlers like Irfan Phatan & balaji should be opted for the New Zeland tour to know their potential in the international cricket.

Message: Sorry, we do not have quality bowling to bowl consistantly. We do not have bowlers who can take wickets regularly and at economical run rate. Unless we take some dramatic steps to find some jenuine bowlers we will find the going tough

Message: I think India has the bowling strength to do well in the world cup.I think it would be a good idea to try sunil joshi,who did so well in south africa. saurav ganguly should use himself , virender sehwag and sachin more often.

Your views:Certainly not. The two good bowlers who pick themselves up for the world cup squad are Zaheer Khan and Harbhaja. Thes two are the only thinking bowlers in the side. Kumble is past his prime and would prove no point in the South African wickets. srinath????? what to say??? I am yet to see one of his attempted slowers not going down the legs. he is not fit for one-dayers with his growing age and it's difficult to hide him in the field as well. Agarkar - I really wonder who is behind this man to keep in the team?? the team management tries its best to accommodate this guy in the team and they are yet to decide whether he is a bowler or a batsman. he is a liability in this team. Ashish Nehra is promising and with proper guidance, he should be fine. I think, a fresh blood like Balaji who has been selected should be persisted with and so is Murali Karthik. So, my bowling line-up would be Zaheer, Balaji, Harbhajan, Murali Karthik and Nehra in the stand-by. sehwag, Sachin, Ganguly and Yuvraj are there to fill in overs. So, with a bit of planning and thinking India can do well in the bowling department as well.

Message: No they are not penetrating bowlers like kapil dev. Another fast bowler is required, as ashish nehra is not getting wickets .he is not maintaining length and line.As the south african pitch is very bouncing a mediam pacer should be required for the team with more experience..

Message: no..our bowling is one of the poorest in international cricket.most of our victories should be expected from our great batting talent.if our batsmen r able to get over the mistakes of our bowlers which they r capable of then victory is possible.but still our bowling lackes that punch that is needed for a world champion.apart from zaheer and to some extend srinath we dont have the third fast bowler for south africa.

Message: Well, at the moment both the bowling and batting line seems to be very strong, attacking and consistent but not to forget India has got a reputation of crumbling down after good starts and running out of form by the highly expected batsmen and bowlers. At this moment wat our country needs is an allrounder like Kapil Devji and technical seamers like Amarnath ji and also the do it attitude of the 83 world cuo team. And all this is possible as 82 days is not a small amount of time and offlate the selection board being so particular. Hope to See another glimpse of the 83 world cup winning team in the youngsters

Message: No according to me me india doesnot have htat mush of attacking bowlers its only zaheer khan as the faster who according to me is the the only bowler who can manage to bowl as a good bowler in the worldcup kaif also should be tried when india would be under the pressur. according to my view nehra should not at all b given the opportunity to bowl in the world cup j should not at all be selected in the squres also

Message: I think the bowling dept needs a lot of improvement. We do not have decent bowlers who can restrict or bowl out the oppostion for under 250. Also when one bowler performs well the bowler at the other end undoes all the hard work by going for over 6 an over. Bowling requires hunting pairs such as akram-waqar. mcgrath-gillespie and good support bowlers to follow like warne or saqlain or murli which we dont have. Also the fifth bowler is a major concern for India. Sehwag, Ganguly, Tendulkar, Yuvraj can go for atleast 6 per over on a given day. that costs another 60-80 runs for the 10 overs of the fifth bowler. So according to me the bowling dept of india is a major cause for concern for the world cup.

Message: srinath should be given every chance if he is ready to serve INDIA in the WC.There is no sense in experimenting with someone like Agarkar.The talent in the team is being done injustice with Yuvraj & Kaif regularly coming in the last 5 overs.With such a good batting line up noneed arises to send Agarkar or Bhajji higher in theorder.Ratheropening should be cross checked.In INDIA everything is going right with Ganguly &co. but ourbatting proved itself once again in Ahmedabad.So go on to try every possible bowling combination with Nehra,Agarkar,Srinath,Balaji,Yohannan,ZAHEER.

Message: Zaheer and Srinath will be certainities. Srinath can come in first-change. These two are capable of bowling tight spells and also knock a few wickets down. Bangar can be a handy bowler on South African pitches. Remember Derek Pringle during '92? Harbhajan is a potent spinner. The fifth bowlers spot can go to Nehra but that spot will be the real headache.

Message: With Zaheer Khan and Srinath(to some extent) being the only consistent pacers in the team, and also considering the fact that South African grounds are more suited to pacers than spinners, I would say, we DO NOT have the requisite bowling strength to guarantee us a berth in the finals. Though I wish India would get there, I think it would happen only if luck favors us at the time of need.

Message: yes the indian fast bowler should definitely do well in the world cup. the best bowling combination for india in the world cup should be zaheer khan, ajit agarkar, javagal srinath and harbhajan singh. this is the best combination according to the fast and bouncy pitches in south africa..

Message: We do have a great batting strength but we need to plan some thing strong on bowling side. Zahir Khan, Ashish nehra, Srinath and Harbachan sing are the only strong bowler with us but guess if more than two are injured/sick what plan we have to fight back. We should have atleast 5 strong bowlers in hand and additionally, Tendulkar, ganguly, Shehwag, Moh Khaif etc can be standby.

Message: No Way !! Srinath who has lost most of his pace & is bowling well within himself has come up as the best pace bowler for india against the W Indies - that ays a lot. India stand no chance in S Africa unless they have a pace bowler to support Zaheer Khan - Zaheer though much improved, is not gauranteed to take us all the way. Where are the MRF school recruits ?

Message: I think India still needs one more quality bowler in the side. Zaheer and Harbhajan are the only two people who seem to bowl cocnsistently well and seem to bring in some fear amongst the batsmen. Srinath as ususal is not very effective in Onedayers, he never knows to bowl yorkers and nowadays any one can hit out of the park. Kumble and Nehra have'nt shown consistenty and so can't be highly reliable. I think India should play with only 1 spinner in SA, so they need to start playing with 3 seamers and 1 spinner regularly. The ideal Bowling line up should be Nehra/AGarkar,Srinath(1st change),Zaheer,Harbhajan. 15 overs can be filled with sachin, saurav and sehwag.
