Form guide: Pakistan

Shahid Afridi: I hope Afridi opens for Pakistan. That will give India early success. In the game against England, it was important for India to take Nick Knight and Marcus Trescothick out early; similarly, a good start is important with the ball in this game as well. Playing Afridi at number 6 or 7 is pointless, because he can't play sensibly. I would unleash Srinath on him -- though Srinath bowls bouncers reluctantly, here he should bowl a couple early on to keep Afridi on the back foot.
