Tanuja added to Khaki
Rajkumar Santoshi has added Tanuja to Khaki being produced by Keshu Ramsay. "It is a lovely role," Tanuja says. "I play Atul Kulkarni's mother."
The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Aishwarya Rai, Akshay Kumar, Jayaprada and Kulkarni. After completing the second schedule in Pune, Santoshi recently left for Bhor in Maharashtra for the third schedule.
Sen sandwiched between the Khans
Sushen Bhatnagar, whose directorial debut Soch (Sanjay Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan, Raveena Tandon and Aditi Govitrikar) was a box-office dud, is ready with a script involving two men and a woman.
"I am talking to Saif Ali Khan, Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan," he says. "In the next 15 days, I will have everything sorted out.
"I had written two scripts before this one, a thriller and a musical. The thriller will be my third venture. I want to cast Abhishek Bachchan in it and Lucky Ali in the musical. But those will have to wait. I wanted to make the musical first but there has been a change in plan."
Sangeeth Sivan's martial affair
For those who object to Sangeeth Sivan's Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne (Zayed Khan, Esha Deol) for an overdose of action, here's what he says:"There was less violence in the original script. The original climax was a mind game. But I realised Zayed was very good in martial arts. So I decided to project this in a bigger way. That changed the end."
In spite of an impressive show in Chura Liyaa, Salil Ankola has no films. "It is very early," he says. "I am sure good roles are on the way. But you will see me soon on Star Plus television in a new action serial Josh, directed by Anil Naidu. It is one of the most expensive serials made till date."
