Farhan's father Javed Akhtar makes a comeback to scripting (his last film was Prem, 1995)�with Lakshya.

Shankar, Ehsaan, and Loy, who scored the music for Dil Chahta Hai, score the music for this as well.

Master dancer Prabhudeva choreographs one of the songs, Main aisa kyon hoon.

The rest of the cast includes Om Puri, Sharad Kapoor, Raj Zutshi, Sushant Singh and Boman Irani.

The film's audio will hit the stores on April 20, while the film is slated for a June 18 release.
