Bihar police arrested three persons from different parts of state on Thursday night in connection with the serial bomb blasts in Mumbai.

Two suspects -- Mohammad Kalam and Khalid Aziz -- were arrested from the Madhubani district by a joint team of the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad and the Intelligence Bureau, police said. Khalid Aziz was arrested from Malmal village while Mohammad Kalam was arrested from Basopatti bazaar locality.

Both suspects were taken to Mumbai by a special aircraft from Patna, the sources said, adding that the two were believed to have fled Mumbai after the blasts.

The third suspects -- Mohammed Akram -- was arrested from Khandwa village in Gaya district. Police recovered some photographs and a mobile phone from his possession.

Akram is a teacher in a madrassa at Mysore and his appearance resembles one of those whose pictures were published in newspapers, police said.

"We are interrogating him on the basis of some evidence. Nothing can be said about him at present," Gaya Superintendent of Police Amit Jain said.
