England vs South Africa

Fifth Test, Day 2

A Shaun Pollock drive brushed spinner Ashley Giles' fingertips before hitting the stumps. Jacques Kallis was found short by the third umpire for 66. In another Oval Test 32 years ago, Johnny Jameson was out identically when Brian Luckhurst's stroke brushed B S Chandrashekar's hand and hit the stumps, setting the tableau for a famed Indian win. (The Mumbai-born Jameson was run out in both innings.)

It was Kallis' 26th half-century in Test cricket. The all-rounder has also scored 11 centuries.
