Graham Alan Gooch
A magnificent right hand batsman who loved to attack and hit the ball extremely hard.
His monumental 333 against India in 1990, at Lord’s, and the droopy-black moustache will remain etched forever in memory.
He toured India in 1979-80, 1981-82, 1992-93 (as captain).
